REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS:  COVID-19 Food Distribution for High-Risk Population

The City of Boston is requesting proposals for the service of food procurement, assembly and distribution of approximately 6,650 “Stay at Home food boxes” per week. The City expects to select a vendor July 2, 2020 and aims to start the food distribution on July 13, 2020. We welcome groups responding collaboratively to this Request for Proposal (RFP).

 

The RFP is accessible on the City of Boston's Supplier Portal (boston.gov/supplierportal) through Event ID EV00008170.

With the release of this RFP, all communications must be directed in writing via email to the contact person below.  No other City employee, consultant, or contractor is empowered to speak for the City with respect to this RFP.  Any oral communication is considered unofficial and non-binding to the City.

After the proposal deadline, vendors should not contact the RFP Coordinator or any other City official or employee, except to respond to a request by the RFP Coordinator.

 

This is an Emergency RFP.  This contract is going to be bid for a shorter time frame due to the public emergency situation.
