BERDO DATA MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

The City of Boston’s Environment Department seeks an integrated data and communication management system (“the platform”) to streamline the day-to-day operations of the Building Emissions Reduction and Disclosure Ordinance (BERDO). This platform will be used to compile and manage all reporting and emissions compliance data, organize contact information, and provide a system to track and manage all related communications and outreach (BERDO help desk).  

 

Additionally, the City invites vendors to propose an optional mapping module and other complementary tools as part of their solution. If provided, the mapping module would enable public-facing, near real-time visualization of BERDO compliance data, integrated with BERDO’s systems, and capable of displaying building-level information tied to BERDO IDs.

Proposals will be solicited from vendors through the City of Boston’s Supplier Portal: boston.gov/departments/procurement. 

All proposals for this project are subject to all applicable provisions of law and in accordance with the terms and provisions of the contract documents entitled: BERDO Data Management System 

Proposals shall be submitted before 12:00 P.M., Boston time, Tuesday, September 2, 2025 and opened forthwith.

SPECIFICATIONS AND PLANS will be available on or about Monday, August 4, 2025 at 12:00P.M., Boston time.
