Excessive Heat Warning in Boston

Mayor Wu issued an excessive heat warning for the City from Wednesday, July 1, through Friday, July 3, due to the heat in the forecast. The City will activate cooling centers, and pools will be open across Boston.

Relocate Sprinkler Heads

If you are planning to relocate sprinkler heads in your building, you’ll need several different permits from both the Inspectional Services Department (ISD) and the Boston Fire Department (BFD).

Because this project involves multiple permits and fire safety, ISD recommends you hire a Fire Protection Engineer who will be able to help walk you through this process before applying online.
