Project Goals

In response to a Request For Proposals released by the MBTA, the selected submission by Preservation of Affordable Housing (POAH) and Nuestra Comunidad Development Corporation (Nuestra) proposed the creation of a 135 unit mixed-income transit oriented development with approximately 10,000 square feet of ground floor commercial/retail space. Located at 466 River Street, the Mattapan Station site was identified by the MBTA as a potential site for well-designed mixed-income residential development.

The development is currently under construction.
