Nutrition Manager

The Nutrition Manager is responsible for managing the senior nutrition program, which includes program and fiscal monitoring.  Incumbent will work collaboratively with community and government partners to promote best practices for the nutrition services program and elevate elder nutrition issues.

Creative Aging Manager

The Creative Aging Manager is responsible for managing the Creative Aging Program (CAP) projects, including, meeting/event planning and execution, partnership management, training coordination, and management of project progression, reporting and evaluation. The Creative Aging Program Manager position reports to the Director of Events and Programs.

Scheduling Manager

The Scheduling Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of the Age Strong Commission’s shuttle scheduling team. The Scheduling Manager will work closely with the Director and the Assistant Director of Transportation and assist with the planning and the day-to-day operations of the shuttle. This position will initiate and evaluate programs to meet the current and future transportation needs of older adults in Boston.

Communications Coordinator

The Communications Coordinator provides a supportive role in the implementation of the Commission’s Communications plan, working to ensure that older adults in Boston have access to important and relevant information. Responsibilities include assisting with all communications initiatives, products and services including print publications, web, social media and other online publications, media and public relations.

Advocacy & benefit Specialist

The Advocacy & Benefit Specialists are responsible for providing advocacy services to older adults, which may include providing information and referral, processing benefit applications, conducting home visits, preparing reports, selling taxi coupons, monitoring follow-ups, and performing related duties.

The Event & Program Specialist is responsible for planning and coordinating all logistics related to events and programs. Responsibilities may include implementing new events and programs, recruitment, and engagement efforts, relationship building with older adults, instructors, vendors, partners, etc.
