Jade Hinton was born and raised in Boston, residing mostly in Dorchester. She attended Boston Public Schools and earned her associates degree in liberal arts from Roxbury Community College. Jade joins the Community Engagement Cabinet as the Director of Administration and Finance. She brings a wealth of knowledge, experience in human resources, and leadership skills with her. 

Jade began her career as a public servant in 2014 as a seasonal laborer in the Public Works Department. She later transitioned into the Boston Retirement Board where she served as an Administrative Assistant and was introduced to the human resource field. Jade served as a Senior Personnel Officer II at the Parks and Recreation Department. In her role in Human Resource Management, Jade enjoyed assisting employees and connecting them to resources to help them succeed. Jade is passionate about human resources. She enjoys discovering talented candidates that represent the best of Boston. 

In her free time, Jade enjoys spending quality time with family and loved ones. She lives for a relaxing vacation out the country, preferably on a cruise. During her travels, she enjoys collecting turtle figurines. You can catch Jade around City Hall wearing a hue of green which is her favorite color.
