SHOREBIRD MONITOR FOR THE CURLEY COMMUNITY CENTER
The City of Boston (“the City”), acting by the Commissioner of the Boston Centers for Youth& Families, hereinafter referred to as the Official, invites sealed bids for the performance of the work generally describe below, and particularly set forth in the Invitation for Bids.
The City is seeking a qualified shorebird monitor for the Curley Community Center in South Boston to monitor the beach for state-listed species and report on their findings in advance of and during the 2025 nesting season. This monitoring will allow the City to implement the Habitat Conservation Plan (HCP) currently being developed with the State. This task will support the safety of the state-listed species while allowing for recreation at the Curley Community Center to benefit Boston residents.
The bid documents will be accessible online from Monday Feb 03, 2025, by visiting the City of Boston Public Procurement website and Supplier Portal at the following link (boston.gov/procurement) and accessing the event ID #EV00015395
All sealed bids shall be filed electronically no later than 4:00 pm on Friday February 14, 2025, by logging onto the City of Boston Procurement website as listed and accessing the above event number.
The attention of all bidders is directed to the provisions of the Invitation for Bids and contract documents, specifically to the requirements for bid deposits, insurance and performance bonds as may be applicable.
The contract awarded pursuant to this invitation to bid will commence on or about February 21, 2025, and will end on February 14, 2026.
