City Council meeting

The City Council is holding a meeting on October 5 at 12 p.m.

All City Council meetings are held at 12 p.m. (noon) in the Christopher A. Iannella Chamber on the fifth floor of Boston City Hall, unless otherwise noted. All meetings are open to the public and are also available on Xfinity Channel 8, RCN 82, Fios 964, and livestream via City Council TV.

  2. COMMUNICATIONS FROM HER HONOR, THE MAYOR:

        1210    Message and order for an appropriation order in the amount of Thirty 
        Million Three Hundred Thousand Dollars ($30,300.000.00) to cover the cost 
        designing, constructing, equipping and furnishing a new building for the 
        Josiah Quincy Upper School.

        1211    Message and order authorizing the City of Boston to accept and expend the 
        amount of Two Hundred Seventy Five Thousand Nine Hundred  and 
        Twenty Nine Dollars and Fifty Eight Cents ($275,929.58) of reallocated 
        funds from the Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) Program Cares Act 
        (ESG CV) appropriation from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban 
        Development. The funds are authorized by the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and 
        Economic Security Act (Cares Act.), Public Law 116 136.

        Whewell as a member of the Zoning Board of Appeal for a term expiring 
        May 1, 2024.
