Public Facilities Commission Meeting (PFD)

ATTENDANCE

On March 28, 2025, Governor Healy approved an extension to remote and hybrid meeting options for public bodies established under Former Governor Baker's Executive Order of March 12, 2020, Suspending Certain Provisions of the Open Meeting Law through June 30, 2027. The Public Facilities Commission (PFC) will continue to conduct its meetings virtually and to ensure its public access to its deliberations through adequate, alternative means.

For public participation requests, please email PFC@boston.gov. Any and all requests for public participation must be received no later than the commencement of this Public Facilities Commission meeting (10 a.m.).

    Amendment to the vote of December 17, 2025: Regarding a contract with Watermark Environmental, Incorporated to provide owner project manager (OPM) services associated with the 2024 Massachusetts School Building Authority’s (MSBA) Accelerated Repair Program (ARP) project at two (2) Boston Public Schools located in Dorchester and East Boston.
     
    Increase of $413,130
     
    That the vote of this Commission at its meetings of March 26, 2025 and December 17, 2025, regarding a contract with Watermark Environmental, Incorporated to provide owner project manager (OPM) services associated with the 2024 Massachusetts School Building Authority’s (MSBA) Accelerated Repair Program (ARP) project at two (2) Boston Public Schools located at:
     
    Kenny Elementary School, 19 Oakton Avenue, Dorchester
     
    O’Donnell Elementary School, 33 Trenton Street, East Boston
     
    be, and hereby is, amended as follows:
     
    By deleting the following words and figures: “at a contract cost not to exceed $45,000, including $25,000 for additional basic fee services” and substituting in place thereof the following words and figures: “at a contract cost not to exceed $413,130 for additional basic fee services;” and
     
    Also, by deleting the following words: “design development phase for the Kenny Elementary School and O'Donnell Elementary School” and substituting in place thereof the following words: “to provide continued OPM services through project closeout for the Kenny Elementary School and O'Donnell Elementary School.”
     
    The Director is, also, authorized to execute such contract amendment, in the name and on behalf of the Commission, upon receipt of said written authority from the Mayor.

    Increase of $161,220
     
    That the vote of this Commission at its meetings of March 26, 2025 and December 17, 2025, regarding a contract with TSKP Studio, LLC to provide design services associated with the 2024 Massachusetts School Building Authority’s (MSBA) Accelerated Repair Program (ARP) project at two (2) Boston Public Schools located at:

    Increase of $1,141,689
     
    That the vote of this Commission at its meetings of March 26, 2025 and of December 17, 2025, regarding a contract with Atlantic Construction and Management, Inc. to provide owner project manager (OPM) services associated with the 2024 Massachusetts School Building Authority’s (MSBA) Accelerated Repair Program (ARP) project at three (3) Boston Public Schools located at:
