Andrea Patton, MPP
Andrea Patton is the Chief of Staff for the Mayor’s Commission for Persons with Disabilities. In this role, she manages the work of the administrative staff of the Commission. She also leads the Commission’s partnerships with other departments in City Hall, outside organizations advocating for and providing resources to constituents with disabilities, and the Commission’s Advisory Board.
Andrea has served in government at multiple levels and with non-profit advocacy organizations in Massachusetts that focus on healthcare and social determinants of health, such as education and youth employment, parks and open space, and the environment. Her work has involved policy research, partnership development, and organizational capacity building to advance community-driven solutions. Andrea is an AmeriCorps VISTA alumna and a resident of Jamaica Plain. She received her Master’s degree in Public Policy (MPP) from Northeastern University and her B.A. in Political Science from the College of Wooster in Ohio.
