Danielle Andrews
Danielle has worked on and off at The Food Project since the summer of 2000, where she started as a grower’s assistant on The Food Project’s Lincoln farm.
In the fall of 2000, Danielle returned to her hometown of Toronto to finish a master’s degree in Environmental Studies with a focus on agriculture-based education and work on urban agriculture projects. In 2002, she returned to The Food Project as the Boston Urban Grower.
Following a maternity leave in 2008, she returned to The Food Project to oversee the development of the Dudley Greenhouse, a 10,000 square foot community greenhouse in Roxbury.
In her current position overseeing production and distribution of the Boston farms and greenhouse, she enjoys having an agricultural position that includes both production, distribution and working in partnership with neighbors and organizations working to build a more equitable neighborhood food system.
