Theresa manages the Grassroots Program, which helps communities develop new community gardens, urban farms, and other open spaces.

Theresa has experience in sustainable agriculture and nonprofit program management. They have worked in a variety of roles in community-based nonprofits—from grant-writing to managing educational programs to volunteer project management.

Theresa is passionate about advancing food justice and managed a small nonprofit farm in the Boston suburbs for four years. Outside of work, they enjoy bike trips around the city and camping in the woods.
