UPDATE: We have received numerous requests from centers and groups asking us to include their organization on our site. Unfortunately, our resource list is at capacity. We will only make updates to this page as the need arises.

St. Elizabeth Comprehensive Addiction Program St. Elizabeth's Comprehensive Addiction Program, widely known as SECAP, is Boston’s oldest hospital-based program for the treatment of addiction. It was founded in 1976 to meet community concerns.
Substance abuse and Mental Health Administration The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) is the agency within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services that leads public health efforts to advance the behavioral health of the nation.

Smart Recovery Self-Help Network There have been over 18,000 SMART Recovery Self-Help Group meetings in Massachusetts since 1990. All groups are lead by volunteers, most of whom are graduates of the SR Program.
Addiction Recovery Management Services – ARMS The Addiction Recovery Management Service (ARMS) specializes in supporting teenagers and young adults between the ages of 14 and 26, and their parents, as they deal with their substance use and related problems.

Brattleboro Retreat / Mental Health and Addiction Care Help for mental health and addictive disorders is available for you, right here on our private, southern Vermont campus. If you’re suffering from problems with depression, addiction to alcohol or other drugs, bipolar disorder, or difficulties related to anxiety, PTSD, or a co-occurring dual diagnosis disorder, then come to the Brattleboro Retreat.
Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital Addiction Recovery Program Faulkner Hospital offers a variety of in house programs for addiction recovery, including inpatient detox, partial hospitalization day programs, outpatient suboxone treatment, and hosted peer-support groups.

Boston Evening Therapy Associates The site offers a good overview on different types of anger management treatment. There are also links to therapists who specialize in anger management.
Emerge Emerge is a fee-for-service individual and group anger management program. The program places an emphasis on supporting domestic abuse survivors.

Child Care services are available for children aged three months to seven years old on a limited basis through the City Hall Child Care program.

Futures Without Violence Nineteen teams comprised of local domestic violence organizations and health care facilities were selected to develop policy and clinical responses to domestic and sexual violence.

Casa Myrna Casa Myrna was founded in 1977 by a group of volunteers in Boston’s South End to provide a safe haven for women who were being abused by their husbands and partners.
Asian Task Force Against Domestic Violence The task force primarily serves Asian families and individuals in Massachusetts and New England who suffer from, or are at risk of suffering from, domestic violence.

The Credit Counseling Professionals American Consumer Credit Counseling is a nonprofit organization. They offer consumer credit counseling services, debt management, and financial management education to consumers nationwide.
City of Boston: Protecting your credit rights This guide from the department of consumer affairs explores what to do to manage your credit well. It includes tips on what to do with debt collection or identity theft.  
Mass.Gov Identity Theft  The state of Massachusetts offers this helpful guide on identity theft and how to navigate it. They also include a guide on how to protect yourself, freeze your credit, and other steps.
City of Boston Credit Union fraud and security The City of Boston Credit Union also offers this guide on security risks and types of fraud. This includes ATM/debit fraud and phishing that can lead to identity or financial theft.

LifeCycle Transitions The fee-for-service company offers numerous housing-related transitional services. These include hoarding cleanups, property renovations, and crisis real estate rescue services.
Housing and Economic Development The division of the Department of Housing and Community Development provides funding to developers, nonprofits, and communities to assist first-time homebuyers.

Massachusetts Bar Association The nonprofit serves the legal profession and the public. They promote justice, legal education, professional excellence, and respect for the law. Dial-A-Lawyer events on the first Wednesday of every month offer free answers to legal questions.

Community Caring Clinic The organization offers behavioral and mental healthcare services in the Roxbury area. The clinic also features bilingual and bi-cultural mental health services.
National Suicide Prevention Lifeline The lifeline provides free and confidential emotional support to people in suicidal crisis or emotional distress 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Stop a Suicide Today / Screening for Mental Health Stop a Suicide today was developed Douglas G. Jacobs, MD, as a nationwide campaign to empower individuals to help colleagues, friends, and loved ones.
Suicide Prevention Resource Center The center is the nation’s only federally supported resource center devoted to advancing the National Strategy for Suicide Prevention.

Renfrew Center / Eating Disorders The Renfrew Center supports the belief that there is never a single cause for the development of an eating disorder. Rather, eating disorders are complex illnesses with biological, genetic, psychological, social and developmental roots. Effective treatment must target this entire range of factors.
