Amy Hood
Amy Hood (she/they) is a Performance Manager on the Citywide Analytics team. In this role, Amy utilizes a blend of facilitative and analytic expertise to support City staff to define, track and reflect on what success looks like for their work. A person of many interests, they also launched the City’s data culture program in 2022, which provides data learning opportunities and discussion spaces to City staff. All of Amy’s work is grounded in the simple belief that anyone can be data literate, and every professional should be.
Prior to joining the City, Amy worked for a large international non-profit organization for six years. Starting in program administration, Amy upskilled into data work while investing in data ethics, visual design, and project management competencies. They graduated from Northeastern University in 2016 with a Bachelors of Arts in French and International Affairs.
Outside of the office, Amy enjoys bread-making, the Boston Public Market, and an ever-growing list of creative pursuits. They live with their husband and two cats: a precious tabby named Twig, and a clever calico named Turtle.
