I've lived in Boston since 1978 and in West Roxbury, with my husband, Dave Newbold, since 1992.  Proudly served on the first board of directors for Roslindale Main Streets and helped establish the city's last Main Street district in West Roxbury.   Was active with the Friends of the West Roxbury Library and as a parent volunteer at Boston Latin School while my kids, Bryan and Jane, were students.  Since 2016, after retiring from teaching middle school science, I've been leading a chapter of Mothers Out Front, working to ensure a healthy environment and livable climate future for all our children.
