We will also announce the awards, juried by Luisa Castellanos (Art Consultant at Powell Fine Art Advisory), Amor Diaz-Campos (Curatorial and Development Coordinator for the Boston Public Art Triennial), and Gabrielle Domb (Executive Director at Brookline Arts Center)!

Mayor Wu will host a ground breaking near the BCYF Mirabella Pool at the future site of the North End Community Center. This location and all aspects of the design of the center were selected after a robust community engagement process and based on the input of local residents.

Celebrate the opening of Johnetta Tinker's solo exhibition, "We are Here to Thrive!" Tinker is one of many local contemporary artists that were mentored by Allan Rohan Crite, whose work is currently on view in a community-driven retrospective at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. Join us for an opportunity to meet the artist and build community. Light refreshments provided.
