Wicked Free Wi-Fi Expansion Project
The City of Boston is expanding our public Wi-Fi network, “Wicked Free Wi-Fi,” to more parts of the City. We will be setting up mobile Wi-Fi units over the next few weeks to test out how useful it is for our residents.
What is Wicked Free Wi-Fi?
Wicked Free Wi-Fi is a free, public Wi-Fi network. It is owned and operated by the City of Boston’s Department of Innovation and Technology.
Why Wicked Free Wi-Fi?
It is designed to help people get online, whether it be to find City services or simply browse the internet. By ensuring that folks have free internet access, we can make it easier to look up directions or news articles while on the go!
