Liz Cook
Liz Cook is the Open Space and Recreation Project Manager for the City of Boston’s Community Preservation Act Office. In this role, she manages a diverse portfolio of CPA grantees, supporting planning and implementation of capital improvements to parks, green spaces, and recreational sites throughout the City of Boston.
Liz comes to the City with a background in non-profits, bringing over a decade of experience working in parks and green spaces in Boston. Before joining the CPA team, she served as Senior Communications Manager at Boston Harbor Now, where she collaborated with a variety of public and private partners to develop programs, messaging, and outreach that advanced opportunities for community access and climate resilience along Boston’s waterfront.
Liz holds a Master’s in Public Policy from Tufts University and a Bachelor’s from Smith College. When not at work, she enjoys hiking, music, photography, and finding new parks to explore. Contact her with questions or ideas for recreation or open space projects in your community.
