Alexandra Paul Zotov
Committed to the accessibility and advancement of socially and civically engaged artwork, prior to her position in the Mayor's Office of Art & Culture, she worked at leading cultural institutions such as the Parrish Art Museum, Creative Time, and Artists for Humanity. In her freelance practice, she has contributed to exhibitions at the Venice Biennale, Art Basel, Art Basel Miami Beach, the Guggenheim, and others. Her words and work have previously appeared in publications such as Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, NOWNESS, Flaunt, and Office Magazine, among other publications.
A first generation Ukranian-American who was raised in Boston, she attended Tufts University and the Museum School, where she studied Art History and Studio Art, with a concentration in Women’s Studies. In her free time, she likes to go to museums, write, read, and spend time in the dark room.
