This project consists of three elements: an interior panel to be displayed on the wall of the library, an exterior sculpture, and an exterior artwork to compliment an existing fence.

Project Details

The Adams Street Branch Library underwent a $12.6 million construction of a new library building that doubled the size of the branch and opened to the public in 2021. The renovation was led by the architecture firm NADAAA.

Through an open call to artists, the City selected Priscila De Carvalho to create artwork for the branch. Below, learn more about her final proposed designs.
