Educators will work with the programs of grantees offering credentials in Childhood Development Associates (CDA), CDA Renewals, Teacher Lead Certification, Director's Certification, Associates Degree, Bachelor's Degree, and Master's Degree.
Applicants that earn credentials through these programs must commit to working in an early childhood program in Boston. Depending on the credential, the commitment is two or three years. Boston residency is not required.

The Neighborhood Villages provides apprenticeship programs for lead teachers and administrators as well as connects students to scholarship programs for Bachelor's and Master's degrees.
YMCA of Greater Boston Early Childhood Education Academy
The YMCA of Greater Boston provides an apprenticeship program for individuals looking to becoming early childhood teachers. Participants will receive paid, on the job and classroom training.
