The program features a lecture series designed to be accessible and engaging. To bridge the gap between the academy and the community, the space will be transformed into a vibrant marketplace featuring l, DJ Troy Frost, and curated food and beverage pairings The event will take place on Wednesday, February 11th, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., at The Substation in Roslindale.

Established in 1926 by Dr. Carter G. Woodson as Negro History Week, this annual observance has grown into a global month-long celebration recognized across the U.S., Canada, and the U.K.

This year’s kickoff will feature speakers, cultural performances, and the raising of the Black Liberation Flag—a moment of reflection, celebration, and unity. More program details will be shared soon.
