Private and special sites
PRIVATE SITES
To work on a private site, you need to give us several documents for approval. We'll need:
- your food truck permit application
- the lease or letter of agreement from the property owner
- a photo of the site and a drawing that shows where your truck will be located and how you plan to serve food, and
- a copy of your Use of Premises permit approved by Inspectional Services. If the department denies your permit, you can appeal it for $150.
To get approved for a private site, you need to bring all your documents to the Public Works Permitting Office:
1 City Hall Square, Room 714
Boston, MA 02201
Office hours: Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
