The goal of these groups in is to help leverage the City's workforce diversity to:

Employee Resource Groups deepen employee engagement and satisfaction in the workplace. They provide a sense of community and belonging. ERGs work to find ways to make a positive impact in the lives of employees, and residents.

About

The People Operations Cabinet supports Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) in the effort to enhance workplace quality. We want to facilitate communication and collaboration across departments, up and through seniority levels.

ERGs aim to create a culture that values the contributions of all employees. Our goal is to provide equal opportunity for professional development and career advancement.

City of Boston Employee Resource Groups engage over 1000 employees. The groups are centered around a variety of interests and identities.
