Sandra Clermy, a native of Boston, has dedicated over a decade to supporting the displaced and underhoused residents of the city. In her role as the Senior Housing Specialist at the Mayor’s Office of Returning Citizens (ORC), Sandra is unwavering in her commitment to helping returning citizens reclaim their independence through the acquisition of secure, stable, and viable housing within the community. Leveraging her expertise in Human Services, Sandra approaches each interaction with returning citizens from a client-centered, strength-based perspective. Employing an undeviating unconditional positive regard in her approach, Sandra effectively utilizes her Bachelor of Science degree to advocate for positive change. Although Sandra's days are spent at the ORC, it is the satisfaction derived from witnessing constituents achieve self-sufficiency that motivates her every morning.

Outside of her service at the ORC, Sandra finds fulfillment in leading a weekly online Bible Study, traveling, and cherishing moments with family and friends.
