Greenovate Boston Ambassadors
The Ambassadors program is an extension of the Greenovate Leaders program. Ambassadors are Boston residents who have completed the Leaders program, and want to continue their community engagement around climate issues.
Ambassadors focus on equitable community engagement for climate action. Ambassadors organize and facilitate the Community Leaders program, leading actions in the five Greenovate vision areas (Mobile, Prepared, Connected, Smart Energy, and Zero Waste). Ambassadors also serve in an advisory role in the considerations and integration of equity into the department's work and socially vulnerable populations-specific programming, breaking down barriers that have historically prevented Boston's most vulnerable populations from engaging in climate action.
