The One Boston Multicultural Family Fair is organized by Afrimerican Culture Initiative Inc. in partnership with TresHeart Foundation Inc. and supported by Immigrants Lead Boston. Our goal is to create spaces where culture is not only celebrated—but connected, shared, and sustained.

Publisher's Poetry Slam

Ten poets will be selected to compete at the Roxbury Poetry Festival in the Publisher’s Poetry Slam. The winning poet will have a chapbook published by Button Poetry!

To participate, submit your manuscript for consideration. Poets are to perform original work without the use of props, costumes or musical accompaniment. Poets should remain within the time limit designated for each round.

Submissions close on June 15, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Selected poets will be notified by June 16, 2026.

Road of Rainbows Pride 5K

The Mayor’s Office of LGBTQIA2S+ Advancement (MOLA) and the Museum of Science invite Boston’s LGBTQ+ community and their loved ones to an evening that celebrates Pride, uplifts the spectrum of beauty, and highlights the world of science with music and live performances. Titled STEM and Beyond, the MOLA added their own twist to the acronym, STEM (Slay the Entire Month).
